Just saying, "Hey".

We were in Memphis this past weekend. The only sites we saw while we were there were the hotel, the soccer fields and very muddy 9/10 year old boys. Devin's soccer team played in a tournament. It was rainy, cold and very very very muddy. They lost the first two games and won the last. The boys seemed to have a lot of fun. Thankfully the hotel is use to hosting soccer teams. If not it would have been a long two nights. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. All of us had dinner at Corky's. It is a bar-b-Q place. All of the boys sat at one table. It was a great chance for them to spend some time with each other. They also spent lots of time in the pool. I had considered swimming but once there were 10 4th grade boys in the pool that idea didn't seem so great. Devin played goal for a half in two of the games. He didn't do to badly. He thinks he might want to play it more often.



Jessi has her first track meet this Wednesday. She is running the 4X200, 4X400 and jumping the long jump. She also has a huge meet on Saturday. She is running the open 100, the 4X200, the open 400 and the 4X400. She did not run the open 400 last year. Jessi asked her coach if she could try running it. She has set some goals for herself and she really wants to do well. I'll keep you posted on how she does. She is also playing softball so she keeps busy. Our goal is for her to have her license this spring. We are keeping our eye out for a used car that runs well, in decent shape and that gets decent gas mileage. We don't want to pay much more than $3,000. If anyone knows of someone selling a car let us know.



No carpeting yet. It is on back order and should be shipped next week. We still have things to put away from our bedroom. Hopefully we can have most of that done before we have to take out everything from our living room and the bonus room upstairs.
